China Water Industry Group Limited Successfully Signs Landfill Gas-to-Energy Project Cooperation MOA in Pekanbaru City, Indonesia

2025年6月17日，中國水業(yè)集團（以下簡稱“水業(yè)集團”）與印尼北干巴魯市政府正式簽署合作備忘錄MOA，雙方將攜手推進北干巴魯市TPA Muara Fajar垃圾填埋場的填埋氣（LFG）綜合利用項目，這一合作不僅是水業(yè)集團在海外新能源領域的又一重大突破，更將為中印尼兩國在環(huán)保與能源領域的合作注入新的活力。

On June 17, 2025 – China Water Industry Group Limited (hereinafter referred to as "CWI") and the Pekanbaru City Government of Indonesia officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to jointly advance the landfill gas (LFG) comprehensive utilization project at the TPA Muara Fajar landfill site. This collaboration not only marks another major breakthrough for CWI in overseas renewable energy but also injects new vitality into environmental protection and energy cooperation between China and Indonesia.

水業(yè)集團旗下分管海外項目-勝策投資有限公司總經理、印尼項目負責人與北干巴魯市長共同出席并簽署協(xié)議。此次合作協(xié)議的簽署，標志著雙方在垃圾填埋氣綜合利用方面達成了深度共識，為項目的順利推進奠定了堅實基礎。

The signing ceremony was attended and witnessed by the General Manager of CWI's overseas project subsidiary, Victory Strategy Investment Limited, the Indonesia Project Director, and the Mayor of Pekanbaru. The agreement signifies a deep consensus between both parties on landfill gas utilization and lays a solid foundation for the smooth implementation of the project.

北干巴魯市是印度尼西亞蘇門答臘島廖內省（Riau Province）的省會城市，也是該省重要的經濟與交通樞紐，擁有約120萬人口。近年來，隨著城市化進程的加速，當?shù)厣罾a生量急劇增加，垃圾處理壓力日益增大。TPA Muara Fajar垃圾填埋場作為該市主要的垃圾處理設施，目前日均垃圾處理量達1000噸。然而，現(xiàn)有的填埋模式在環(huán)保和可持續(xù)性方面面臨著諸多挑戰(zhàn)。

Pekanbaru is the capital city of Riau Province on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, serving as a vital economic and transportation hub for the province, with a population of approximately 1.2 million. In recent years, rapid urbanization has led to a sharp increase in municipal solid waste, placing growing pressure on waste management. The TPA Muara Fajar landfill, the city's primary waste disposal facility, currently processes around 1,000 tons of waste daily. However, the existing landfilling model faces numerous challenges in terms of environmental sustainability.
